Beautiful Soul

About the project

Beautiful Soul is a music video that opens with a thirty-second narrative sequence before the song begins. A man walks through a forest with a guitar on his back, arrives at a trailer and interacts with the space before beginning the musical performance.

My work was focused exclusively on the opening sequence. I performed most of the Foley, worked as the Foley recordist for the remaining sessions and was responsible for the final mix of the opening sequence. The Foley helped define the character’s movement and interactions with the environment, creating a natural transition into the beginning of the song. The song and its mix were outside the scope of my work.
